This is my first year teaching, and I am so excited to be teaching Language Arts and Reading. I grew up in Alden and graduated from Alden High School. I went to Iowa State University (GO CYCLONES), where I graduated with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Secondary English Education. I substitue taught before accepting my position at Riverbend Middle School. I live in Alden with my husband, Lee, my son Kieser, and my dog, Sydney.
I love to read and write, spend time with family and friends, and also I love to do anything active, like walking, swimming, bike -riding, and skiing.
